About
Dr David Malan graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2016, embarking on a career defined by excellence and dedication to advancing patient care. Shortly after completing his degree, he pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Implantology, reflecting his commitment to advancing and staying at the forefront of dental innovations.
Throughout his studies, Dr Malan actively participated in community outreach programs, partnering with government and private institutions to bring vital dental care to underserved communities across the Western Cape and rural northern South Africa. He completed his community service at Sabie Hospital in Mpumalanga, further enriching his experience by serving patients with diverse backgrounds.
Dr Malan gained comprehensive experience in a wide range of dental fields, with a particular focus on Implantology, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, and Minimally Invasive Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry.
Since being based in Cape Town, Dr Malan is a valued member of the Hout Bay Dental Studio team. Passionate about delivering evidence-based, holistic dental treatment, he continuously refines his skills by attending postgraduate seminars, lectures, and international congresses.
