What to Expect As Our Booking Process

Welcome to our Booking Process page, where we highlight how your journey to a perfect and beautiful smile, healthier living, and your dream holiday begins with simplicity, transparency, and ease with just 10 easy steps.

Discover how seamless it is to arrange your dental treatment and luxury experiences in South Africa. From initial free consultation to personalised treatment plans, curated travel arrangements, 3+, 4 or 5-star accommodation, our dedicated teams ensure that every detail is meticulously handled.

Step 1: Choose City

Once you have reviewed our website to better understand our services, treatments, level of approved practitioners, and the variety of experiences available to visit decide whether Cape Town or Johannesburg will be your preferred city for treatment.

Step 2: Choose Dental Clinic

Decide on your preferred Dental Clinic by considering your chosen city, the practitioners qualifications, experience levels, customer reviews and ratings, testimonials, and the likely level of investment required, rated on a scale from £ (lowest) to ££££ (highest).

Step 3: Register

Like what you see and ready to book a free 30 minute first consultation with your chosen South African practitioner? Click 'Book free Consultation' to register and receive a brief personalised Oral Hygiene Questionnaire to fill out. This will include basic health questions to help your practitioner prepare for your first video call.

Step 4: Book Free Consultation

Once you have completed the brief Oral Hygiene Questionnaire, this will be submitted to your chosen South African practitioner and a suitable date and time for your first consultation can be secured. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your desired results, specific requirements, post-care needs, choice of dates, process, and any queries you may have.

Step 5: Pre-Travel Imaging

Following your first consultation, your chosen your chosen South African practitioner can refer you to one of 600 UK-dental clinics, closest to your postcode, for any required 2D/3D imaging or X-rays to be done locally before your travel. The cost for these services will be payable directly by the patient. If you have recent scans or imaging, please check with your South African practitioner as these may still be relevant and useful.

Step 6: Level Of Investment

If 2D/3D imaging or X-rays are needed, after receipt these are to be shared with your chosen South African practitioner. They will review these along with the requests from your first consultation and provide you a detailed cost estimate for your specific treatment plan. This, combined with your choice of South African experiences / tours, possible packages and accommodation, will give you a good idea of the investment required for your perfect smile and dream holiday. Note that flights and medical tourism insurance are additional costs, and prices for accommodation and excursions may fluctuate depending on seasonality.

Step 7: Need Finance?

If financing is an option, you can use our Loan Calculator to estimate your likely monthly instalment and total repayment amount (based on your personal credit score, loan period and other variables).

Step 8: Formal Quotation

Ready to progress further? Send us your Wish List with your choice of dental clinic, travel dates, accommodation, packages and tours sought. Our team of travel managers will review all requests, liaise with relevant partners and provide you a formal quotation based on your selection, seasonality and availability.

Step 9: Flights & Insurance

Should you be happy with everything provided, one last consideration will be your Flights and Insurance which you ought to book directly. You may wish to consider our travel partners, Flight Centre, who provide all our customers a dedicated flight desk manager to assist with their ideal choice of airline, travel class, preferred seating, lounge visits, baggage requirements, use of travel points, etc. Included is Flight Centre’s 24/7 travel support and direct contact numbers, should any travel emergencies occur or changes be needed at any time.

Step 10: Cost Proposal Acceptance

You may wish to consider our approved partners, Medical Travel Shield, for specialist medical tourism insurance, not just travel insurance. Once you’ve confirmed your flights, insurance, accepted our Cost Proposal, and settled your 50% deposit with us (note 100% deposit is required if travel is expected within 90 days), you’re all set. We’ll secure your treatment, accommodation, choice of excursions, all travel plans and oversee your journey, ensuring you’re on your way to getting that perfect smile and fulfilling your dream holiday.
